Sunday School is an effective
tool God has given us for fulfilling
the Great Commission, and the Sunday
School here at Allen Baptist Church
can equip you to do just that.
Incorporating a Three-Dimensional
design of focus and purpose, all
classes are equipping their members
to fulfill the Great Commission by:
(1) entering into a kingdom
"conspiracy" to work together to
make their class a safe and
hospitable environment that
motivates members to Invite
unchurched friends, relatives,
associates, and neighbors. (2)
Covenant together to create small
group experiences in which people discover the great truths
of the Bible and the faith stories
of believers. (3) Work
together to provide people the
opportunity to connect
through fellowship and ministry.

After Glow Sunday
School
facilitates college age and young
adults in fellowship, worship and
in-depth discovery of God’s word.
This program has been designed with
flexibility in mind. Study
materials, meeting opportunities and
activities are all designed to meet
the needs of today’s young adult.

Pray for those who need to
hear the word.
Mixed Adults for singles and
couples provides an in-depth study of God’s Word while allowing you to
meet new friends and learn about topics relevant to your life.
Location: Education Complex - rm. 110
Men of Purpose
for men of all ages is designed to meet the needs of those who want to
grow in their knowledge of the Bible and deepen their walk with the
Lord. The class format emphasizes and invites individual participation,
which provides for increased clarification of biblical principles and
precepts through scripturally based group discussions. Men are
encouraged to become skilled at seeking the truths of Scripture and how
such searching, along with prayer and Christian fellowship, can help us
recognize God’s will for our lives. Bring a Bible.

Women Encouraging Women for women of
all ages is designed to know Jesus in a more intimate way through
praise, prayer and Bible study, providing support and encouragement for
each other while sharing the love of Christ with others. It will enrich
your life spiritually as well as open doors to develop friendships with
others.

Prime Time Sunday School
for older adults is warm fellowship, relevant Bible study, spiritual
development, and forever family! We have a heart for serving and
mentoring others, a hunger for His Word, and a love for others because
first God loved us. We are aware of God’s presence in the past and the
joy it brings us today. This allows us to be energized for the best
days of our lives.
Location: Worship Center - Classroom 1
Faith
101: New Believers
introduces new believers, new church members, and anyone interested to
fundamentals of the Baptist faith, our church, and opportunities of
fellowship and service. Taught by the Pastoral staff, this 4-6 weeks
study will be offered on an as needed basis.
Faith 201: Spiritual Disciplines is designed to
train Christians in the practices for growing in the likeness of Christ.
Taught by Pastor Chris, this 6 week study will be offered on an as
needed basis.
These Classes will meet in the following location: Worship Center –
Upper Room
Other Opportunities to Grow
The following are opportunities
outside of Allen Baptist Church for discipleship and growth for men,
women, couples and families. Many of these are attended by groups
from Allen Baptist Church at scheduled times throughout the year,
however, you may attended these whenever is convenient for you. To
learn more about these activities just click on the picture located to
the left. Let's grow and learn together for the cause of Christ.

Christ-centered enrichment events that create opportunities for married couples to get away and seek renewal. The festivals encourage husbands and wives to grow in their relationship with one another and with God.
Operation Christmas Child November, 2010,
• Allen, KY (Target audience:
People of all ages.) It all starts with a shoe box. Use an empty
shoe box or a small plastic container. Fill the box with a variety of gifts that
will bring delight to a child. Most importantly, pray for the child who will
receive your gift. Drop-off times will be determined at a
time to be announced later.
